THE VILLAGE @ Nukht

As one of the most promising and anticipated projects, The Village @ Nukht is an award-winning, western style mixed-used development offering an assortment of retail and leisure related activities. Capitalizing on the trend of affluent Mongolians spending their leisure time outside of the city center, the 10,000 square meter development is designed to fill a gap in retail and entertainment offering in Ulaanbaatar. The Village @ Nukht is forecast to become the premier, family oriented retail and entertainment destination and host to musical shows, cultural performances, weddings and special events. The interior courtyard provides access to the shops, restaurants, offices, luxury residences, and entertainment venues as well as a protected outdoor open space for visitors to enjoy the the countryside. The Village @ Nukht is the only retail getaway and leisure destination outside Ulaanbaatar’s city center.

LOCATION

For the last 50 years, the pristine lush of the Nukht Valley was reserved for only the wealthiest individuals. Located by the Bodg Khaan Mountains in the suburbs of Ulaanbaatar, the Nukht Valley traditionally served as a summer home for many top government officials. Today, the Nukht valley continues to carry its prestige with the most upscale residents in all of Mongolia. Several hundred prominent families and affluent Mongolian businessmen have built majestic townhouses and condominiums on either side of the main road in Nukht, creating the most exclusive suburb in Ulaanbaatar. In Mongolia, the Nukht Valley is a symbol of wealth, power, and true class.

THE DEVELOPER

Asia Pacific Investment Partners is a research-driven emerging and frontier markets real estate company with a strong track record in Mongolia. Founded in 2001 by Lee Cashell and Tsendsuren Bordukh, the group has focused on the development of luxury and middle-income residential and retail properties in Ulaanbataar. As at 30 June 2016, the group had completed development of approximately 47,000 sqm in GFA of real estate across five developments. The group currently has approximately 38,000 sqm in GFA under construction on one site. Additionally, APIP has control over land holdings capable of delivering up to 500,000 sqm.

To date, APIP has successfully designed, completed, marketed and sold finished properties in five major developments in Ulaanbaatar: Mon House Residence in 2005, Park View Residence in 2007, Temple View Residence in 2010, Regency Residence in 2010 and Village at Nukht in 2014. Apart from the above developments, we’re currently under development or expected to begin in the near term on Olympic Residence completing in 2017, Oasis Residence completing in 2017 and Park Place completing in 2020.
